A. Vern Ihrig - 1960 (Covell)
Ihrig, of the UCD Architects and Engineers, was described as a “pioneer in the Little League movement” because, as president of the Little League organization for 3 years, he helped with the drilling of wells for water at the fields, building of the concession stand, the bleachers, dugouts, and planting grass; and has worked on the Little League breakfasts since their beginning. He was also Sixth Area Assistant Regional Director of Little League.
