david burmester - 1988 (brinley)
David Burmester was recognized for sponsoring and coaching Acme Theater, the improv group that did so much for the high school students involved. Known for teaching children in and out of the classroom, he was also advisor to the Davis Senior High School Improvisational Theater Co. He selected nontraditional plays, giving them weightier subjects to come to grips with rather than the usual fare.
