Green said that since she had come here in 1950, Davis had “been her hobby.”  Mayor Asmundson introduced her as “the mother of Davis Parks and “the great dissenter,” referring to her four years on the City Council when she worked to have Community Park developed and often cast dissenting votes when other members assented.  Besides the City Council, she was also very involved in the community.
